Termite sculpture no. 1

This piece combines the  consequences generated by the termite nest with the foibles of man to construct against such an adversary.

This sculpture is made by Formosan termites turning a 2" x 6" into a nest to brood their young.

It has been reassembled as it once had stood to illustrate the conflict between species in building their homes to live, propagate and flourish .
